Traffic - “Managing traffic is not just about roads — it is about safety, respect, and everyday convenience for citizens”
Easing Traffic Challenges in Kondhwa–Kausar Bagh
Traffic congestion has long been a major concern for residents of Kondhwa–Kausar Bagh, affecting daily commuters, pedestrians, senior citizens, and emergency services. Under the leadership of Sameer Shafi Pathan, Nagrik Adhikar Manch took proactive steps to address these challenges through coordination, planning, and on-ground management.

Focused Traffic Management on Survey No. 42 Road During Ramzan
During the holy month of Ramzan, traffic pressure on Survey No. 42 Road increases significantly due to religious gatherings, evening prayers, markets, and higher pedestrian movement. Recognizing this, special traffic-easing measures were implemented consistently for all 30 days of the holy month.
Coordinated with local authorities and volunteers to ensure smooth traffic flow during peak hours
Managed congestion during Iftar and late evening hours, ensuring safe passage for worshippers and residents
Helped maintain clear routes for ambulances and emergency vehicles
Assisted pedestrians and senior citizens at crowded junctions
Prevented unnecessary blockages and chaos through on-ground supervision
These efforts ensured that religious observances continued peacefully while daily life and emergency movement remained uninterrupted.

Ongoing Traffic Solutions Across the Ward
Beyond Ramzan, continuous efforts have been made to highlight and resolve overall traffic issues across the ward, including:
Identifying congestion-prone spots
Supporting better traffic discipline through awareness
Acting as a link between citizens and traffic authorities
Advocating long-term solutions for safer and smoother roads
